The SwitchBot Motion Sensor lets you enjoy a cozy atmosphere the moment you enter your home. Place it near the entrance and it will automatically turn on your lights, humidifier, fan, air conditioning, or other smart devices. Place it under your bed, in the hallway, near the bathroom door, or in the kitchen and it will automatically turn on the light when you leave bed at night to go to the kitchen or bathroom. This allows you to enjoy a greater sense of security and comfort in the dark.

For your safety

Using the SwitchBot Motion Sensor with the SwitchBot Hub Mini and SwitchBot Indoor Cam, you can create a surveillance and monitoring system for your home. It's recommended to place the sensor at the entrance or anywhere where a break-in attempt could occur. Mounting the SwitchBot Indoor Cam on the ceiling or a high spot monitors the target area. When the sensor detects motion, the SwitchBot Indoor Cam automatically turns on and begins recording.

Create a SwitchBot Ecosystem

The SwitchBot Motion Sensor connects to other SwitchBot smart home products to create home automation. Local automations can be created with the SwitchBot Bot and SwitchBot Curtain. Once set up with the SwitchBot Hub Mini, you can connect to a variety of third-party services, enjoy voice control, and remote control from your smart speaker and smartphone.

Intelligent motion and brightness detection

The SwitchBot Motion Sensor features an advanced PIR sensor to detect human movement up to 9 meters away, and a light sensor to determine whether human activity is occurring during the day or night. Its range is 110° horizontally and 55° vertically. This allows the device to operate precisely and adapt to lighting conditions. Worried about false alarms? You can adjust the motion sensitivity to avoid this problem!

Practical notifications

When the SwitchBot Motion Sensor detects movement or a change in brightness, you'll receive a notification. This allows you to conveniently check what's happening in your home—all you need is a smartphone with the app installed. Furthermore, all events detected by the device will be recorded and synced with your phone. Note: a SwitchBot Hub Mini is required for setup.

Seamless integration with voice assistants

With integration with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant, managing your home becomes even easier! You can control devices with your voice and create personalized scenes tailored to your needs. You'll also be notified when Alexa detects motion, so an uninvited guest doesn't go unnoticed, even during a night's sleep. Note: SwitchBot Hub Mini required.
