Freewell ND32 Filter for Real Locking VND

The Freewell ND32 filter is a neutral gray filter that reduces the amount of light reaching the lens by up to 5 stops. Designed specifically for the Real Locking VND/CPL system, it's ideal for very bright conditions—for example, when shooting or filming at midday in full sunlight. True Color optics ensure the image retains its natural colors, without color distortion.

Full control over exposure and movement

The filter allows for free manipulation of aperture and shutter speed – even when shooting with the aperture wide open. It allows for effects such as motion blur, smoothing water surfaces, or soft clouds when shooting with slower shutter speeds. It can be used alone or as part of a larger set of Real Locking filters, allowing for flexible adjustment of exposure to the conditions.

Quick assembly and safe transport

Thanks to the snap-in mechanism, the filter is mounted without the need for threading – simply press the side tabs and snap it into the L1 base ring or other compatible filter system. Once attached, it holds securely, without play or accidental rotation. A shock-resistant case is included that protects the ND32 filter from dust and scratches, while also fitting easily into a camera backpack.
