The MEROSS MS405-EU water leak sensor effectively protects your home against flooding – the product offers a dual detection system and a loud 100 dB alarm. Its compact design, measuring 63 x 63 x 27 mm, allows for easy placement even in hard-to-reach places, such as under the sink or next to the washing machine. Connecting to the hub and mobile app, users receive immediate notifications of detected threats, allowing them to respond quickly and minimize potential damage.
Precise detection
The device is equipped with sensors located both at the top and bottom of the housing, allowing it to detect leaks from various sources – both dripping water from the system and liquid accumulating on the floor. The high sensitivity of the probes means that even small leaks are quickly identified, increasing safety in critical areas of the water system.
Instant alarm and real-time notifications
When a leak is detected, both the sensor and the hub trigger a 100 dB audible alarm, effectively alerting household members. Additionally, the Meross app sends push notifications to your smartphone with the current device status. The system also allows you to create automations, such as changing the smart lighting color to red when a leak is detected, providing an additional warning.
Durability and reliability in harsh conditions
The housing meets the IP66 standard, ensuring high resistance to water and dust, allowing the sensor to operate in demanding environments. Powered by two AAA batteries, it provides over 3 years of operation, and the ability to replace them allows for long-term use without having to purchase a new device.
Smart home integration and full control
The sensor works with popular smart home systems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. The Meross app allows for event monitoring and access to up to two years of leak history, with the option to export data. A Meross hub is required for operation, which is responsible for communication and access to smart features.
