Sunlu SP2 Filament Dryer
The Sunlu SP2 is a 2-in-1 modular filament dryer that combines effective drying and airtight storage of 3D printing materials. The design consists of a heating base and a storage container, allowing for flexible use depending on your needs, and the containers themselves can be stacked to better organize your workspace. This is a practical solution for those who want to simultaneously improve filament storage conditions and simplify daily material handling.
Drying and storage in one system
The SP2 model is designed so that the drying process doesn't have to be separated from storage. An efficient heating base removes moisture, and the airtight container helps keep the filament in better condition even after drying. The silicone top and bottom covers provide excellent sealing and thermal insulation, and in storage mode, the device can maintain internal humidity at around 25%, with an average ambient humidity of around 50%.
Sealed construction and humidity control
The device is equipped with a carrying handle and a recessed bottom for easy movement and convenient positioning. A built-in hygrometer allows for real-time monitoring of internal humidity, and three cable entry points on each side allow for better workflow adaptation to various printing configurations. The modular design simplifies workspace organization, and the stackable containers help save space in both small and larger workshops.
Large capacity and wide compatibility
The Sunlu SP2 supports spools weighing from 0.25kg to 3kg and works with 1.75mm and 2.85mm diameter filaments. The compartment can hold two 1kg rolls, one 2kg roll, or one 3kg roll, with a maximum spool size of 250mm in diameter and 153mm wide. A paper spool can also be used with a guide roller, and a reel-to-reel allows for stable mounting of damaged spools.
Adjustable temperature and greater printing efficiency
The SP2 operates within a temperature range of 35°C to 70°C, making it compatible with most popular filaments, such as PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS, TPU, PVA, PVB, ASA, and PA/PC. Removing moisture from the material helps reduce printing problems such as stringing, nozzle clogging, and poor layer adhesion. The manufacturer provides recommended drying settings for various materials, making it easy to select the appropriate parameters for the filament type.
Safe, refined in operation
The SP2 model utilizes a 200W PTC heater, supported by a fan, an additional overheating protection switch, and intelligent temperature control via software. This triple safety design increases the reliability of the heating process and allows you to use the device with greater peace of mind. The maximum operating power is 250W, and standby power consumption does not exceed 1W, ensuring comfortable everyday use.
