Each filter has a different purpose, allowing you to choose the right amount of light reduction for the situation. ND8 (3 f-stops) is effective for light overcast or early mornings, providing subtle motion smoothing. ND16 (4 f-stops) is a versatile choice for sunny days, preventing blown-out highlights and improving contrast. ND32 (5 f-stops) excels in very bright light, keeping colors natural. ND64 (6 f-stops) allows for long exposures – ideal for effects like blurred water, moving clouds, or dynamic cityscapes.
