The Avatto ZMS16 sensor is a compact ZigBee device that provides complete control over your home or office security. It detects any movement within its range, sending instant notifications to your smartphone app. By working with the Tuya and Smart Life ecosystems, it allows you to create automated scenarios that increase comfort and safety – for example, automatically turning on lights when motion is detected or activating an alarm when no one should be in the room.

Precise motion detection

The Avatto ZMS16 uses PIR technology to accurately detect human presence at a range of up to 8 meters and an angle of 60°. Upon detecting movement, it immediately sends a signal to the ZigBee system, allowing for immediate activation of connected devices. The sensor only responds to actual thermal movement, minimizing the risk of false alarms, such as from pets or changes in lighting.

Wide detection angle and position adjustment

The Fresnel lens provides a wide detection range, and the rotating design with a magnetic base allows for precise sensor angle adjustment. You can aim it directly at a door, hallway, or entryway for increased detection. We recommend mounting the device at a height of approximately 2.2 meters for optimal field of view.

Compatibility with ZigBee system

The ZMS16 sensor operates based on the ZigBee 3.0 standard, ensuring stable and energy-efficient communication. It requires connection to a ZigBee gateway, which integrates it with other smart home devices. This allows you to create extensive automation scenarios – for example, turning on the lights when you enter a room, activating a camera when motion is detected, or sending a notification when the sensor is activated while you're away.

Easy to install and energy efficient

Thanks to its clever design, the sensor can be mounted on both walls and ceilings, making it easy to adapt to various rooms. The magnetic base allows for quick removal of the device, for example, to replace the batteries or change the viewing angle. Installation requires no tools – simply stick the base in the desired location and place the sensor on it. The device is powered by a CR123A (3V) battery, which ensures long and stable operation without the need for frequent replacement. A low-battery indicator alerts you to replace the batteries in advance, and the energy-efficient ZigBee module minimizes power consumption, extending the battery's lifespan.

Intelligent integration with AVATTO devices

When connected to a ZigBee gateway, the sensor works with other smart Avatto devices. You can connect it to lights, switches, or cameras to create fully automated scenes. The ZMS16 increases the convenience of everyday use and is an important element of a smart home security system.
