RainPoint Outdoor Soil Moisture Sensor
Care for your plants precisely and conveniently with the RainPoint HCS021FRF sensor, which monitors soil moisture (0–100% RH), temperature (-20°C to 60°C), and light intensity (0–200,000 lx). The device connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and allows remote management via an app, giving you full control over your growing conditions at all times. IPX5 waterproofing and a range of up to 60 m (depending on obstacles) make the sensor ideal for both gardens and potted plants.
Permanent access to data in the application
With the dedicated app, you can check the most important soil and environmental parameters in real time – without having to leave home. The device's screen displays current humidity, temperature, and light intensity values, and you also have access to measurement history from the last 24 hours and up to 10 days. This allows you to better understand your plants' needs and make informed decisions about watering and light exposure.
Accurate measurements tailored to soil type
The sensor allows you to select your soil type in the app, which affects the accuracy of moisture readings. You can adjust the settings to your specific conditions—whether you're using garden soil, potting mix, or other substrates. This allows for more reliable data and more effective plant care.
Well-thought-out design and easy assembly
The ergonomic design, measuring 222 x 69 x 72 mm, allows for convenient placement of the sensor both in pots and in the ground. Simply insert the probe into the soil (up to the MAX marking) to begin measuring. The device is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included), and the intuitive button allows for quick start-up and setup.
Resistance to external conditions
The RainPoint HCS021FRF is designed for outdoor use, so it can easily handle moisture and splashes thanks to its IPX5 rating. A built-in light sensor located at the top of the device monitors light intensity, allowing for even better monitoring of plant growth conditions – both in the garden and on the balcony.
