The DJI Mic 3 automatically switches frequencies, supports Lossless Audio transmission, 32-bit float recording (a high-precision audio recording format), and timecode (timestamping), while its long battery life allows you to work without interruption. A transmitter and receiver are included.

Sound tailored to you

The system automatically adjusts gain to ensure every sound is consistent and clear. Automatic mode prevents clipping, while Dynamic mode adjusts to varying volumes, perfect for studio use. Choose from three vocal tone modes: Regular (natural), Rich (fuller bass), or Bright (cleaner highs). You can also activate noise reduction—Basic or Strong—and use the windscreens for interference-free field recording.

Simple operation, fast performance

The DJI Mic 3 features a 1.1" AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) touchscreen and a convenient dial that lets you quickly change modes, control the volume, and check the battery level. You can update the firmware and customize settings to suit your workflow in the DJI Mimo app. All this to make recording intuitive and fast.

Ready for bigger projects

The DJI Mic 3 receiver supports four transmitters simultaneously and synchronizes audio with up to seven additional receivers, perfect for group recordings or multi-camera workflows. You can record in Mono, Stereo, or Quadraphonic mode, capturing four independent audio tracks when used with select Sony cameras or desktop software. This gives you greater editing flexibility.

Forget about connection issues! DJI Mic 3 automatically switches between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, providing a range of up to 400 m and stable, interference-free transmission. Lossless Audio enables uncompressed 48 kHz 24-bit audio transmission, ensuring rich, detailed sound.

Internal Float Recording and Saving

The DJI Mic 3 saves recordings in two files – one original and one enhanced by algorithms, making post-processing easier. With 32-bit float recording, the system captures a wide dynamic range and reproduces every detail, from whispers to loud sounds, in excellent quality.

Fast synchronization, convenient transfer

The DJI Mic 3 system supports timecode with less than one frame per 24 hours of drift, allowing you to easily sync footage from multiple cameras, speeding up the post-production process. File transfer is equally simple – simply connect the transmitters to a computer or smartphone using the charging case and a USB-C cable (Universal Serial Bus Type-C, a universal connector for data transfer and power) to quickly upload your footage. You can also use the DJI Mimo app for convenient downloading and exporting of footage.

Record non-stop

The DJI Mic 3 allows the transmitters to operate for up to 8 hours and the receiver for up to 10 hours on a single charge. With the charging case, you can get up to 28 hours of battery life, allowing you to record and stream all day without worrying about running out of power. The system supports quick charging – 5 minutes is enough to gain an additional 2 hours of battery life, and a full charge takes approximately 50 minutes. Power-saving options, such as automatic sleep and idle shutdown, allow you to better manage your battery life. The receiver can turn on and off with the camera when connected via a 3.5mm cable or via the hot shoe (a shoe for mounting accessories on the camera). It can also power your smartphone while recording, and if you use an external power source, you can charge the receiver and your phone simultaneously – without interrupting your workflow.

Connect the way you want

The DJI Mic 3 gives you the freedom of choice. Using DJI OsmoAudio™ technology, the transmitter connects directly to the DJI Osmo 360, DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, DJI Osmo Action 4, and DJI Osmo Pocket 3—no receiver required. The system works with phones, tablets, cameras, camcorders, and computers. The receiver offers a 3.5mm TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve, a standard audio connector for stereo) port with locking, a 3.5mm TRRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve, an audio connector for both audio and microphone) port for live monitoring, and a USB-C port for simultaneous recording and charging. You can also connect the transmitter to your phone via Bluetooth, recording or streaming in third-party apps without the need for additional cables or a receiver.
