To conduct effective aerial surveys, you need to see the invisible. That's why the Mavic 3 Multispectral offers two forms of vision. It combines an RGB camera with a multispectral camera to scan and analyze crop growth, providing complete transparency. Managing agricultural production requires precision and data, and the 3M Mavic delivers both.

Highly integrated imaging system
Newly enhanced imaging system with one 20MP RGB camera and four 5MP multispectral cameras (green, red, red edge, and near-infrared). Suitable for applications such as precision aerial surveying, crop growth monitoring, and natural resource research.

Sunlight Sensor
The built-in sensor captures solar radiation and stores it in the image file, enabling light compensation during 2D reconstruction. As a result, you can enjoy more accurate NDVI results, as well as greater precision and consistency of data acquired over time.

Precise photos that capture every pixel
The Mavic 3M is equipped with an RTK module, which provides centimeter-precise positioning. The flight control system, camera, and RTK module synchronize within microseconds to precisely determine the position of each camera's imaging center. This allows the Mavic 3M to conduct accurate aerial measurements without the use of ground control points.

Performance-optimized batteries
A flight time of up to 43 minutes allows for more ground coverage during each mission, allowing for coverage of up to 200 hectares.

Stable signal, smooth image transmission
The O3 system integrates two transmitting signals and four receiving signals, allowing it to provide a transmission range of up to 8 km.

Omnidirectional obstacle detection [1], terrain-follow measurements
The drone is equipped with a range of vision sensors that offer a wide field of view, precisely detect obstacles in all directions, and allow for smooth obstacle avoidance. Furthermore, the Mavic 3M allows for easy terrain-following measurements in steeply sloping areas.

Orchard Mapping
The 3M Mavic enables terrain-following aerial surveys in orchards – even on sloped terrain. You can also use it with DJI Terra or DJI SmartFarm Platform [6] to reconstruct high-resolution maps and benefit from automatic tree identification, distinguishing trees from other objects, and generating 3D operational routes for agricultural drones. All this translates into greater safety and efficiency.

Planning variable doses of fertilizers and plant protection products
Whether fertilizing rice, regulating cotton growth, or spraying potatoes with foliar fertilizers – in any case, the 3M DJI Mavic will allow you to obtain multispectral crop images. You can then use DJI Terra or the DJI SmartFarm Platform [6] to prepare NDVI maps and other vegetation indices, capturing differences in crop potential and generating recommendation maps that allow agricultural drones to vary the application of selected inputs. All this allows users to reduce costs, increase yields, and protect the environment.

Intelligent Field Reconnaissance
The 3M Mavic can conduct automated field reconnaissance and transmit field observation images to the DJI SmartFarm Platform [6] in real time via a 4G network. It enables the rapid detection of irregularities such as non-emergence, weed density, and crop lodging. It also enables intelligent analysis, such as cotton seedling identification and rice production testing. The drone uses artificial intelligence to provide real-time crop growth information, facilitate agronomic management, and enable seamless management of up to 70 hectares by a single operator.

Monitoring the environment and natural resources
The 3M Mavic will also be used in environmental and natural resources research, for example when monitoring water enrichment or checking the distribution of forests, inspecting urban green areas and more.

The above data is the farthest communication distance for one-way, non-return flights within each standard. Please pay attention to the messages in the DJI Pilot 2 app during flight.
3. Detailed test conditions: In a sunny, windless environment, an orthophoto is acquired at a flight speed of 15 m/s, a flight altitude of 217 m, a ground sample distance (GSD) of 5.73 cm for visible and 10 cm for multispectral, a front-to-back overlap ratio of 70%, and a lateral overlap ratio of 60%.
