This filter gently softens highlights, boosts highlights, and smooths contrasts, creating a pleasant, diffused glow. It can be used alone or in conjunction with a variable density filter (VND) and a polarizing filter (CPL) from the same system. When used as an overlay over a VND/CPL, you gain full control over exposure and flare without sacrificing filmic haze.
