Characteristic elements of Bossanova hammocks include traditional Brazilian decorative elements such as hand-made Veranda fringes and a special type of connection between the bed and the suspension loop called Macramé. This is a special element that distinguishes high-quality hammocks from Brazil. The result of this labor-intensive art of tying ropes is a mesh that connects the hammock surface to its suspension. Besides its aesthetic appeal, macramé plays an important role in optimally distributing body weight across the strings holding the hammock, providing additional comfort while lying.

The hammock fabric is densely woven at the edges, ensuring durability, safety, and a load capacity of up to 200 kg.
