The Shelly LoRa Add-on repeater operates in the EU868 band and provides communication over a distance of up to 5 km. This is significantly longer than traditional automation systems. Thanks to LoRa (Long Range) technology, the device excels where other technologies fail – in buildings, industrial zones, basements, and vast agricultural areas. It's an indispensable choice in places with limited internet or Wi-Fi access. Please note that at least two repeaters are required for full operation (one repeater to transmit the signal, the other to receive).
