The Sonoff SNZB-01M is an elegant, wireless push-button switch with four independent buttons that offers advanced smart home control capabilities. Thanks to the dual Zigbee and eWeLink-Remote protocol, you can manage lights, blinds, thermostats, sockets, and entire scenes with a single touch. Each of the four buttons supports different press types (single, double, triple, and hold), for a total of up to 16 different control actions. The TouchLink function allows direct pairing with smart bulbs without the need for an app, and the magnetic mounting allows you to freely place the button anywhere. The CR2477 battery provides up to 4 years of operation in Zigbee mode, eliminating the need for frequent replacement. The compact, minimalist design (Φ50 × 22.5 mm) fits perfectly into modern interiors.

Dual Communication Protocol

The button works in both Zigbee network (requires a Zigbee hub, e.g., ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro, iHost, or USB dongle) and eWeLink-Remote mode (requires an eWeLink-Remote gateway, e.g., M5 Stack, MINIR4, NSPanel, MINI-RBS, and others). This versatility allows you to adapt the device to your existing smart home ecosystem or choose your preferred communication method. Depending on the chosen platform, various features are available, such as OTA updates, battery level display, or the ability to create bindings.

TouchLink – Instant Bulb Control Without an App

The TouchLink feature is a true revolution in ease of use. To pair the button with a smart bulb, simply hold it within 10 cm of the bulb and hold the appropriate button. Once paired, you can control the light directly – without the need for in-app configuration. This is ideal for seniors or children, who can easily turn the light on and off with a single touch. Note: TouchLink availability depends on the bulb model – please check your bulb's specifications before purchasing.

Four buttons, sixteen control options

Each of the four buttons responds to four types of presses: single click, double click, triple click, and hold. For example, you can configure a single button so that a single click turns on the living room light, a double click turns on the lamp at full power, a triple click starts the "Movie" scene, and a hold turns off all the lights in the house. These options give you virtually unlimited control over the devices and scenes in your smart home.

Bindings function – direct communication between devices

Bindings allow you to directly link the button to other Zigbee devices without involving a gateway or cloud. This means lightning-fast response times and operation even when there's no internet connection. The button can directly control switches, light bulbs, and other compatible Zigbee devices. The Bindings feature is available on the Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant (via Zigbee2MQTT) platforms.

Smart scenes at your fingertips

Create personalized scenes to suit your lifestyle. A single tap can trigger a "Leaving Home" scene that turns off all the lights, closes the blinds, and sounds the alarm. A long press can activate a "Home Theater" scene that dims the lights, closes the curtains, and turns on the TV. You can also set push notifications on your smartphone at the press of a button, for example, to remind yourself when a meal is ready or it's time to sleep.

Magnetic mounting and flexible installation

The set includes a magnetic base that can be mounted two ways – using VHB tape on smooth surfaces or screwing into standard flush-mount boxes (86-Type or European round Φ60mm). The round button magnetically attaches to the base and can be easily removed for relocation or battery replacement. Additionally, the button can be used with 3D printed components, allowing for creative applications, such as a night light or floor switch.

Wide compatibility with smart home platforms

The SNZB-01M works with eWeLink, Smartthings, Home Assistant (via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT), Zigbee2MQTT, and Alexa (account-based sync in the eWeLink app). Each platform offers a slightly different range of features – for example, triple-clicking is not supported in eWeLink-Remote mode, and Alexa only supports basic actions. Open-source enthusiasts will appreciate the full integration with Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant, which allows for advanced automation without using the cloud.
