ELEGOO Rapid PLA+ Filament (gray)

Rapid PLA+ (polylactide plus – a biodegradable, plant-based material enriched with additives for increased durability) ELEGOO in its gray variant is a filament designed for fast, technical prints. The subdued color masks minor imperfections and allows you to focus on the model's shape. The material works well in utility projects, prototypes, and construction elements where precision and repeatability are key. Each spool contains 1 kg of material.

High-Speed Performance

The filament melts quickly and flows smoothly from the nozzle, allowing for print speeds of up to 600 mm/s (with a properly adapted printer). Rapid PLA+ has improved flexibility and crack resistance compared to standard PLA, making prints less brittle and more durable. It also conducts heat well, which facilitates layer bonding.

Accuracy and convenience

A 1.75 mm diameter and dimensional tolerance of ±0.02 mm ensure consistent material feed and reduce the risk of nozzle clogging. The material is machine-wound and then hand-checked, reducing tangling. A recycled cardboard spool facilitates sorting, and the entire product is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber – ensuring the material is ready to print immediately after opening.
