FNIRSI WHD-02 is an advanced meter with a 2" color screen that allows you to quickly and precisely check the moisture content in wood, while also monitoring the ambient temperature and humidity. The device offers 7 measurement modes, a resolution of 0.1%, and a sampling time of approximately 0.5 seconds, thanks to which the results appear almost instantly. The ability to record up to 30 events, visualize data in the form of a graph, and a triple alarm (sound, light, and vibration) make the WHD-02 model ideal for many applications, for example in a carpentry workshop or when inspecting building materials. Its dimensions of approximately 63 × 28 × 148 mm and weighing approximately 185 g fit comfortably in the hand and easily fit in a tool bag. The included case makes it easy to store and transport the meter, while the USB-C cable allows for convenient charging and software updates.
Precise measurement and convenient data analysis
The meter features seven measurement modes that allow you to adjust the range to the material being tested. The measurement range ranges from 0.1% to as much as 55%, depending on the selected option, allowing you to monitor the moisture content of various types of wood and other materials, such as cardboard or plastered walls. With a resolution of 0.1%, you receive accurate data that helps avoid problems related to excessive moisture, such as cracking, deformation, or mold growth. The large, 2-inch color display shows not only the current measurement result, but also temperature, relative air humidity, and battery charge level. The device also offers a special graph mode updated every 0.5 seconds, making it easier to observe changes and analyze them in real time. A light and dark interface theme is available to choose from, increasing comfort in various lighting conditions.
Useful Features
The meter allows you to set alarm thresholds for too low and too high humidity. When the set values are exceeded, it can trigger an audible alarm, backlight, and vibration, immediately alerting you to abnormal results. Additionally, the device saves up to 30 alarm records, starting with the most recent, facilitating subsequent analysis and documentation of measurements. The meter also supports software updates via USB-C and allows you to adjust screen brightness, volume, date and time settings, sleep mode, and auto-off. The built-in data retention function and intuitive control buttons make operation convenient even during intense work.
