ND, ND/PL and ND1000 Filters – Daylight Control and Long Exposure

ND filters (ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64) limit the amount of light entering the lens, helping to maintain proper exposure on sunny days and achieve natural motion blur. ND/PL versions also reduce glare and improve contrast, making them ideal for use by the water or at the beach. The ND1000 filter, on the other hand, is designed for long exposures – it allows for smooth blurring effects, such as on waterfalls or clouds, even in bright sunlight.
