The PXN VD10 is a Direct Drive steering wheel base designed to realistically and precisely replicate the driving experience in racing simulators. With 12 Nm of peak torque, a 24-bit magnetic encoder, intelligent cooling, and the Sense+ algorithm, the PXN VD10 is a steering wheel base that combines power, precision, and reliability.
Smoothness and responsiveness
At the heart of the PXN VD10 is a low-inertia Direct Drive servo motor. It guarantees precise control, smooth transitions, and instantaneous, lag-free responses. Thanks to optimized magnetic control, the motor offers 95% efficiency. Furthermore, an integrated rotor core operating at 10,000 RPM provides high power density and overload capacity.
Maximum control precision
The PXN VD10 is equipped with a 24-bit magnetic encoder that registers 46,603 pulses for every degree of steering wheel rotation. This allows the base to operate with an accuracy of less than 1 ms, allowing for maximum precision and realistic reproduction of even the smallest movements.
Intelligent temperature control system
An aluminum housing with temperature-regulating sensors and an intelligent cooling system ensures maximum torque stability. During 48-hour testing, the VD10 base maintained a stable temperature of around 50°C, while older designs reached as high as 80°C. This ensures the unit maintains full power and torque even during long racing sessions.
New PXN Sense+ algorithm
The PXN VD10 utilizes the proprietary Sense+ algorithm, which is based on native game data. It analyzes vehicle-specific force profiles, chassis and road reactions, and dynamic terrain changes. The result is multi-level feedback—from sensing road irregularities to realistic drifts and traction changes.
Compatibility and easy setup
The base is compatible with PCs running Windows 7–11 and operates in D-input mode. PXN SimRacing software allows you to easily configure settings—from force feedback strength to pedal calibration and game-specific profiles. The software also allows you to optimize performance and import pre-made game profiles, eliminating the need for time-consuming setup.
