The camera records in 2K Ultra HD resolution, which translates into highly detailed footage and easier recognition of people and objects. A wide 165° viewing angle and 16:9 aspect ratio allow you to capture not only the area in front of the door, but also the area close to the floor, allowing you to see both the visitor's face and any packages left behind. The built-in full-color night vision mode uses LED lighting, so even after dark, the image remains clear and more natural than standard infrared modes.

Two-way communication and quick responses

The video intercom allows for real-time voice conversations, allowing you to conveniently speak with the courier or visitor without opening the door. In situations where you can't answer the call, a quick reply function automatically plays a pre-prepared message. This allows you to maintain contact with the person at the entrance and provide basic information without engaging in conversation.

Efficient battery and convenient power supply

The device is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that ensures long operating time and reduces the need for frequent charging. ECoPower technology further optimizes energy consumption, which in practice means greater independence from a power source. The video intercom can be charged via a USB-C port, and an optional solar panel allows the device to operate for long periods without user intervention.

Smart notifications and stable performance

The system detects human movement and automatically sends notifications to your smartphone, allowing you to quickly respond to any activity at your door. AI detection reduces the number of accidental alerts, making notifications more relevant and useful. The built-in monitor also functions as a WiFi relay, improving the stability of the 2.4 GHz connection and enabling the device to operate even without internet access.

Data security and no fees

The video intercom offers local storage of recordings on a microSD card, and a 4GB card is included in the kit. The device supports media up to 512GB, providing ample space for recording events without the need for a subscription. An optional cloud service with a trial period is also available, but basic features are fully functional free of charge. The system can store up to several thousand recordings, allowing you to maintain a history of visits and events.

Integration and smart home features

The SwitchBot Video Doorbell works with Alexa, allowing you to quickly preview images using voice commands. Support for Home Assistant via RTSP and the Matter standard allows you to easily integrate the device into your existing smart home system. When paired with a compatible SwitchBot lock, you can also use the NFC door opening feature, extending the device's functionality to include access control.

Durable construction and easy assembly

The housing meets the IP65 standard, meaning it's resistant to dust and rain, making it suitable for outdoor installation. Its compact size and light weight make installation easy, with mounting tape or screws. Additional features allow you to angle the device, helping you adjust the field of view to a specific entrance. To ensure stable operation, it's recommended to mount the monitor at an appropriate distance from the doorbell and near the router.
