DJI Avata 360 – Above it all, see it all
The DJI Avata 360 is the first DJI drone with a 360° camera, opening a completely new chapter in aerial filming. It's equipped with two 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors, providing a panoramic image equivalent to a 1-inch sensor, allowing you to capture incredibly detailed 360° footage in 8K resolution at 60 frames per second with HDR technology. Omnidirectional obstacle detection and integrated propeller guards ensure a more relaxed flight, while the O4+ transmission system ensures stable Full HD image transmission. You also have the Spotlight Free feature, which helps you create more creative and free-form shots. Importantly, this model combines the excitement of FPV flights with great creative flexibility, allowing you to record in both 360° and Single Lens modes. The Fly More Combo kit also includes a DJI RC 2 remote controller, spare batteries, a carrying bag, and other useful accessories.
Image without limits
The impressive recording quality is achieved thanks to two sensors with capabilities similar to a 1-inch sensor, large 2.4μm pixels, and a wide dynamic range that allows for better rendering of both highlights and deeper shadows. The DJI Avata 360 allows you to create 360° videos in 8K quality at 60 frames per second with HDR, as well as capture 360° photos with 120MP and 16K resolution. This type of footage offers enormous freedom in post-production – you can extract multiple frames from a single shot and decide which fragments best capture the character of the scene. This solution gives you much greater control over the effect and allows you to build a narrative after the flight. Whether you're filming mountainous landscapes, seaside landscapes, or cityscapes, the drone remains out of the frame, giving you a more open, clear, and striking image.
Two modes, more freedom
360° recording mode offers exceptional flexibility and means you're not limited to a single decision made at the time of filming. You can maintain your own perspective or refine the frame during editing, choosing from a variety of possible shots created from a single piece of footage. The drone also allows you to freely control the pan and tilt of the image, so even when flying in one direction, you can show the space behind you, align the horizon, achieve a smooth zoom, or create a dolly zoom effect. If you prefer a more traditional way of filming, simply switch from 360° mode to Single Lens. In this setting, the DJI Avata 360 allows you to record dynamic video in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
Two perspectives of flight
Dreaming of spectacular aerial shots and simultaneously wanting to experience the thrill of FPV flights? The DJI Avata 360 combines both applications in one device, so you don't have to choose between filming and dynamic piloting. Using the DJI RC 2 remote controller, you can precisely control camera movement and create refined shots, while pairing the drone with DJI Goggles 3 or N3 and the DJI RC Motion 3 controller gives you a much more immersive flight experience. An additional attraction is the head-tracking function, which makes control even more intuitive and natural. The whole experience creates the impression of truly floating in the air and allows you to see your surroundings from a completely different perspective. Also noteworthy is the Easy ACRO mode, which allows even those just starting out in the world of FPV to easily perform spectacular maneuvers, such as drifts. This solution paves the way for spectacular acrobatics even for less experienced pilots.
Stable image, long range
The DJI Avata 360 utilizes the O4+ transmission system, which provides high image quality and excellent resistance to interference, so you can focus on your flight instead of worrying about connection stability. This solution allows you to transmit video in 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second over a distance of up to 10 km. This range gives you greater freedom to explore the surroundings and discover places worth capturing. Importantly, high-quality previews are available during both FPV flights and traditional aerial filming. Vision Assist provides additional support, offering Full HD and full-color images, making it easier to assess the surroundings and better understand the surroundings.
More confidence in the air
The drone is equipped with precise sensors and a forward-facing LiDAR system, allowing it to detect and avoid obstacles in all directions in 360° mode – even after dark. Integrated propeller guards provide additional protection, increasing safety during more dynamic flights. This makes it easier to fly more daringly, test more interesting shots, and reach for less obvious perspectives without the constant stress of collision risk. In Single Lens mode, obstacle detection operates from the front, still providing solid support for standard filming.
Creativity without limits
Creating eye-catching footage becomes much easier thanks to features that support aerial work. The DJI Avata 360 is equipped with ActiveTrack 360°, which selects the optimal subject tracking mode. Standard mode maintains a constant distance and altitude relative to the selected target. Cycling mode, on the other hand, responds more quickly to changes in direction. This ensures that the subject being filmed remains in the frame even when the situation changes dynamically. You also have the Spotlight Free function, which helps keep your focus on a moving target and simplifies camera control during flight. This allows you to focus on the controls, gaining greater control over the shot's appearance during recording. Additionally, Spotlight mode allows you to align the drone with the subject so that it remains centered in the frame at all times, making it easier to create shots like Circle or Dronie without constantly adjusting settings. The FPV gimbal mode complements this, adding a natural tilt to footage shot using Spotlight Free, ActiveTrack 360°, and manual control, giving your videos a more dynamic feel. Importantly, you can also enable or change this effect later in post-production.
Efficient editing of materials
The DJI Avata 360 drone allows you to conveniently export footage directly, so you can skip extensive post-production and prepare finished footage faster. However, if you want to refine your shots in more detail, the DJI Fly app and DJI Studio software come to the rescue. The algorithms used enable smooth tracking of people, vehicles, and other objects – even in 360° videos. A quick reframe function is also available, allowing you to instantly add camera movement effects. The DJI Fly app also offers a GyroFrame option – simply move your phone to find the best angle, lock the selected view, and easily export the finished video. Those who work daily with Premiere can also count on convenience – a special plugin is available for editing 360° footage.
Ready for more than just flight
The Avata 360 is designed to provide comfort not only during flight, but also in everyday use. The built-in 42GB memory allows you to store approximately 30 minutes of 360° footage in 8K quality, and if you need more space, you can use an additional microSD card. A lens replacement kit is also available separately, so if the lens gets scratched, there's no need to send the device to a repair shop. Another convenient solution is transferring photos and videos to your phone via the DJI Fly app – even in the background, without interrupting the transfer when you switch windows. You don't even need to remove the drone; just being within Bluetooth range is enough. Speeds of up to 100MB/s allow you to copy 1GB of data in about 10 seconds, significantly improving file management. The drone also offers a flight time of up to 23 minutes, and the included hub supports PD fast charging and parallel charging, so you don't have to wait long to take to the skies.
