Digital Target Identification offers a numerical identification scale from 0 to 99 that precisely determines the conductivity of detected metal. This lets you know what you're dealing with before you start digging, significantly increasing efficiency and saving time.

Hear the iron before you dig

ACE™ 400I Iron Audio technology lets you hear rejected iron signals that are normally muted. This allows you to identify unwanted flat objects like bottle caps or washers before you decide to dig. To use this feature, you need to set the iron discrimination level – in the demo it's set to 35. Without Iron Audio, a bottle cap and a silver coin sound very similar, but when the feature is activated, a bottle cap produces the characteristic iron "whirr," signaling that it may be a waste item.
