With flat terminals and a housing designed for mounting above or below a circuit breaker, it easily fits into standard distribution boards. This compact device is ideal for homes, apartments, businesses, and photovoltaic installations – anywhere precise energy consumption control is essential.
Versatile applications – one module, many possibilities
The Shelly 3EM-63T Gen3 is a solution for everyone – whether you want to monitor household energy consumption, allocate consumption to specific departments within your company, or monitor electricity production from PV panels. The device supports both three-phase installations and three independent single-phase lines, allowing it to be adapted to almost any configuration. Furthermore, thanks to 4-quadrant measurement, the meter records both consumed and exported energy, which is useful in photovoltaic and hybrid systems, for example.
Intuitive operation, extensive integration
The module connects to the network via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth – without the need for an external gateway. It can be managed via the Shelly Smart Control app, the web interface, or via MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket protocols. All incoming connections are protected by TLS encryption. Data can be exported in CSV or JSON format.
Continuous monitoring and analysis
The Shelly 3EM-63T Gen3 offers voltage, current, active and apparent power, power factor, and energy measurement with Class B accuracy (IEC 62053-21). A built-in clock maintains accurate timestamps even if internet access is lost. Measurement data is saved locally at 1-minute intervals and retained for at least 7 days, providing access to your consumption history even if you are temporarily disconnected from the cloud.
Automation and Security
Shelly 3EM-63T Gen3 allows you to create schedules (up to 20) and configure webhooks (up to 20, with up to 5 URLs each). Furthermore, local automation allows you to, for example, react to momentary energy consumption and trigger specific actions, while the built-in "no load threshold" prevents energy metering at very low consumption (less than 30 VA per channel).
Ready for solar energy
The Shelly 3EM-63T Gen3 is also ideal for monitoring photovoltaic systems. It allows you to simultaneously track energy production and consumption, allowing you to precisely match device operation to the momentary availability of power from the panels. This makes it easier to reduce grid consumption and optimize self-consumption – for example, by running energy-intensive devices during peak sunlight hours.
Clear information and full control
The device features LEDs to indicate its current status (including Wi-Fi connection and OTA updates) and a single button for quickly entering configuration mode or resetting to factory settings. It also has a built-in temperature sensor. It is also very easy to install.
Shelly Smart Control App
The meter works with the Shelly Smart Control app, which allows you to remotely manage the device, view energy usage, and create schedules and automations. You can also use it to monitor data, view measurement history, and track energy costs.
