Shelly EM Mini Gen4 WiFi/Matter Energy Meter
The Shelly EM Mini Gen4 is a compact energy meter designed to measure real-time electricity consumption. Despite its small size, it offers features known from larger Shelly devices – including power and energy consumption measurement, and integration with smart home systems. The device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee connectivity and is compliant with the Matter protocol, ensuring high integration flexibility.
Various Possibilities
Thanks to its miniature housing (just 29 x 34 x 16 mm), Shelly EM Mini Gen4 easily fits into standard junction boxes and small distribution boards. It can be mounted even where other devices won't fit – for example, behind a socket or in a meter box.
Bidirectional energy measurement
The meter enables accurate measurement of voltage, current, power, and energy – both drawn from the grid and exported (e.g., from a PV installation). Parameters are tracked with an accuracy of ±1%, and data can be saved on the device or exported to CSV and JSON files.
Wi-Fi, Zigbee and Bluetooth connectivity
Shelly EM Mini Gen4 supports various communication protocols – Wi-Fi (including AX), Zigbee, and Bluetooth. It can operate independently on a local network, integrate with the Shelly cloud, or operate within a home automation system via MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket, or Matter. The device also has a built-in web interface and features for scheduling, webhooks, and scripts.
Additional Features and Integrations
With BLE Gateway mode, the device can transmit data from Shelly BLU sensors to a local network or the cloud. It also acts as a Wi-Fi and Zigbee signal amplifier, helping to expand the range of these networks in IoT installations.
