The Revopoint MetroY is a professional 3D scanner designed for engineers, designers, makers, and quality control specialists working with small and medium-sized components. The device scans objects from 10 x 10 x 10 mm to as small as 1 x 1 x 1 m, maintaining high volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m). Wide range of scanned objects

The MetroY scanner handles objects of various sizes – from small technical components (from 10 mm) to elements measuring up to 1 m. This allows you to efficiently scan both small, precise parts and more complex structures without having to change devices. This versatility allows the product to be used in a variety of design and production processes, both in smaller workshops and large industrial plants.

Several scanning modes to choose from

MetroY utilizes a set of 30 blue laser cross lines, 15 parallel lines, and one single line, allowing for accurate scanning of a wide variety of objects. You can also choose from several operating modes. Cross-Lines facilitates the capture of shiny and dark materials, Parallel-Lines is suitable for fine and complex details, and Single-Line allows for precise capture of the geometry of deep holes, channels, and hard-to-reach areas using markers.

High precision and stability of mapping

The device provides a volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m), ensuring data consistency throughout the entire model – even when working with larger components. This is crucial in engineering, where the scanner is used for dimensional control, component alignment, and shape verification.

Fast data acquisition

Scanning speeds of up to 1,500,000 points per second reduce 3D model preparation time, which is especially important when scanning a large number of scans or when frequent repeating is necessary. The multi-line laser operates stably and efficiently, facilitating work in areas requiring rapid data collection without compromising quality.

Works without spray on selected surfaces

MetroY allows you to scan many dark and shiny surfaces without having to use a spray first. In many cases, this reduces setup time and simplifies the entire process. In more demanding situations, such as transparent, highly reflective, or metallic surfaces, you can use the spray according to the instructions to achieve optimal results.

Convenient connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C

MetroY can be operated wired or wirelessly. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity allows for fast data transfer to a computer or mobile device, giving you complete freedom of movement while scanning. The USB-C port ensures a stable and fast connection – ideal for lab environments or extended scanning sessions.

Ergonomic design and low weight

The Metro scanner weighs only about 447g, so you can use it comfortably for long periods without feeling tired. The ergonomic grip allows you to confidently guide the device along edges and complex surfaces, and a set of four buttons allows for intuitive operation.

Complete set, ready to go

The kit includes not only the scanner, but also a USB-C to USB-C cable, a power supply, a calibration board, a carrying case, and 200 markers. This means the device is ready to use right out of the box, without the need to purchase any additional components. Additionally, the MetroY model is compatible with the Marker Block Kit and Mobile Kit (3rd generation), expanding its application possibilities.

Advanced Revo Metro Software

Revo Metro software allows you to process scan data and prepare models for further work. It supports export in PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, and FBX formats, allowing for seamless integration with popular applications. Compatibility with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS gives users the flexibility to work on their preferred platform.
