X-Sense XC0C-iR Wi-Fi Carbon Monoxide Sensor

The X-Sense XC0C-iR is a Wi-Fi-enabled carbon monoxide detector that combines traditional home protection with instant notifications via a mobile app. In the event of a threat, it notifies you with a loud alarm, a clear message on the screen, and an alert on your phone, allowing you to respond even when no one is home.

In-App Notifications

When connected to the X-Sense Home Security app, the sensor sends real-time notifications, displaying the current CO concentration in ppm during an alarm. The app also provides information about pre-warnings, low battery levels, and possible device faults, and allows you to view your carbon monoxide alarm history. You can share the sensor with other household members, allowing alerts to reach multiple people simultaneously. A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection is required for the smart feature to function.

Two-stage warning

The XC0C-iR model supports two alert levels – a preventative alarm and a full CO alarm. When carbon monoxide levels are elevated but not yet at the alarm threshold, you'll receive an alert in the app. If CO levels persist, the sensor will enter full alarm mode, sounding an audible alarm and sending another notification.

Precise CO measurement

A high-performance electrochemical CO sensor provides accurate and stable carbon monoxide measurements. The device meets the requirements of the EN 50291-1:2018 standard, meaning the alarm is triggered at specific intervals depending on the level of CO detected.

Clear screen and signaling

The backlit LCD display shows the current CO concentration in ppm, allowing you to quickly assess the situation without reaching for your phone. It is complemented by an LED indicator that provides information about the device's operating status, alarms, battery issues, or malfunctions.

Loud local alarm

When a dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide is detected, the sensor triggers an audible alarm at a volume of at least 85 dB. The signal is clearly audible, so it warns homeowners even when they are sleeping.

One-Click Mute

The alarm can be silenced locally using the Test/Silence button or remotely via the mobile app once the situation has been verified and deemed safe. The silence function is temporary, after which the sensor automatically returns to normal standby mode.

Flexible installation

The sensor can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall using the included mounting hardware. It is recommended to place the device in an area where household members spend most of their time – away from obstacles that may restrict airflow – for the most effective detection.

Exceptional durability

The device has an expected lifespan of up to 10 years. Power is provided by a replaceable battery, and a notification system notifies you of low power, a fault, or the end of its life, ensuring the highest level of safety.
