Each mode is designed for different usage scenarios – from signaling help in emergencies, to blinding a potential attacker, to ensuring maximum visibility in the dark. The flashlight also features a memory function that remembers the last lighting mode used, and a quick shut-off function in any mode – further enhancing ease of use.

The Superfire A20 flashlight is compatible with several battery types, including 21700, 18650, and three AAA batteries (triple A, a standard 1.5V small cylindrical battery), giving the user great flexibility in choosing a power source. The built-in USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) charging port allows for fast and efficient charging from a variety of devices, such as computers, power banks, and wall chargers. The LED (Light Emitting Diode) charging indicator informs the user of the battery status – red light indicates charging, while blue light indicates a full charge.
