The spherical design and 360° even light make the Neewer NS90L perfect for video recording, live broadcasts, interviews, and studio photography. Unlike traditional parabolic and rectangular softboxes, the Lantern model disperses light in all directions, helping to achieve more natural and soft lighting without obvious shadows. This characteristic is ideal for illuminating larger spaces and scenes requiring uniform light.
Control light direction depending on the scene
The softbox is equipped with a removable skirt attached with Velcro, allowing you to control the direction and spread of light. The ability to install a select number of panels allows for easier adaptation of lighting to a specific scene, reducing light spill, and creating more atmospheric shots during filming and photography.
Quick set-up and durable construction
The one-piece design allows for rapid deployment and folding of the softbox in a single movement, significantly speeding up set preparation. Twelve durable ribs ensure the lantern maintains its perfect shape and ensures high durability even with intensive use and frequent folding. Internal diffusers with a highly reflective coating help maintain the natural color reproduction and color temperature of the light source being used.
Bowens Mount and Wide Compatibility
The NS90L utilizes the popular Bowens mount, making it compatible with a wide range of studio and LED lights for photography and video. The softbox is compatible with select NEEWER, Godox, Aputure, and SmallRig models equipped with a Bowens mount, among others. Its large 90cm diameter allows for effective lighting of both individuals and larger sections of the scene.
